How to Get the Most Out of a Timeshare Presentation

There is no doubt that attending a Timeshare presentation is not on the top of anyone’s “Fun To-Do” List.  A lot of people get roped into attending timeshares presentations because they failed to read the fine print before they signed on the dotted line. Others make a sport of it because of the freebies that they are being offered.

Below are a few tips that will help you get through a Timeshare presentation painlessly while at the same time getting what you want. 

Before you attend, make sure you know how long the presentation is going to last. Call ahead and double check on the timeframe. Definitely make sure that you don’t have anything planned even a few hours after the presentation. The last thing you want is to attend this presentation for a few hours, and then not even receive what you expected. Make sure you give your salesperson the full time allotted to present the product to you. Also, definitely ask questions along the way. Even if you are planning on buying a timeshare, maybe you don’t necessarily want to be a target at the presentation. Before the presentation even starts, be upfront with the salesperson, and let them know that you expect the same in return. This way, you are getting the most out of the presentation, without wasting anyone’s time. It is important to develop a rapport with your salesperson.
